Signatures filed to place judge recall on ballot

In a milestone for the grassroots effort to unseat Santa Clara County Judge Aaron Persky for his alleged bias in sexual violence cases, the campaign has gathered the number of voter signatures required to place the recall measure on the June ballot.

All well and good. Glad the people are speaking out. However why is San Mateo District Attorney’s Steve Wagstaffe attempting to hitch himself to this particular bandwagon by equating the honorable Judge Donald Ayoob with Aaron Persky?

St. Petersburg, That is a great question. The Honorable Judge Donald Ayoob is the best thing for the residents of San Mateo County. Steve Wagstaffe and others on his team are upset with Judge Ayoob because he does not allow their Prosecutorial Misconduct a recent case former Sheriff Deputy Juan P. Lopez several charges Dismissed because of it.
