I've tried three times to donate to Stanford----I am O-negative. Each time, despite a scheduled appointment, I had to wait several hours, at which point I had to leave. I now donate to Pacific Blood Centers.

Stanford should review their scheduling procedures and respect the time of those who are giving.

I have a standing monthly appointment, and have never had to wait for more than maybe 5 minutes in all the years I've given, nor have I ever witnessed anyone waiting for such a time, so I can't imagine what "Donor" is referring to. What I do understand is that only 10% of those eligible to give actually do so. So please, get over there and help out!
