Menlo Park: Cannabis business moratorium extended

If anyone was considering opening a marijuana retail shop or farm in Menlo Park, it's time to put those plans on hold.

Well regulated sales of intoxicants of adults are already very much a thing in Menlo Park (see: BevMo). Just because it's not your intoxicant of choice doesn't mean we shouldn't allow sales.

At least it wouldn't be yet another boring furniture / interior design store.

Seems wise to not get greedy and take on the tax revenue from a harmless crop-- much wiser to build some businesses to add to our traffic and give them tax breaks!!!
