Hillview students raise $7,287 for fire victims

Hillview Middle School's service team, a club made up of students dedicated to community service, raised $7,287 for the victims of the North Bay fires with an event at the school on Oct. 24 featuring Menlo Park police officer Mary Ferguson and Muhi Khwaja from the American Red Cross.

It’s a good start, however Menlo Park should do MUCH more. Maybe start a Fund for the victims by the city. 7,000 won’t do a ton, unfortunately.
