Menlo Park: Former flower shop owner sentenced to 90 days in jail, five years probation

The former owner of Cindy's Flowers and Gifts, Cynthia Ann Smith, 60, who pleaded no contest to insurance fraud and unemployment insurance fraud in August, was sentenced on Oct. 19 to five years of supervised probation and 90 days in county jail, starting on or after Dec. 16, according to prosecutors.
