I enjoy kayaking in SF Bay but I can not understand the proposal to put a "small boat launch" in the slough at Bedwell Bayfront Park. It's too narrow and the steeply sloped sides don't make for a good launch area let alone disturb the shorebirds and migrating ducks. The tide moves in and out of the slough very quickly and a launch could only be used during very short windows. Redwood City and Palo Alto offer several locations to "put-in" that I don't see being used much. IMHO this isn't a good use of taxpayer funds.

Amphitheater? Nature itself suffices for 'entertainment'.

Let Facebook build the performance hall?

This seems silly considering other needs for the community, like affordable shelter, or are we to continue turning a blind eye from needs because someone is poor and there's no profit in that.
