Menlo Park: No permit for gun-toting protester on Sand Hill Road

A decision by the city of Menlo Park to deny a special event permit application to a man seeking to run a one-man protest on Sand Hill Road with a semi-automatic rifle was upheld by the City Council with 4-0 vote at a special meeting Aug. 29, held to discuss an appeal of the matter. Councilman Ray Mueller was absent.

I'm not a lawyer, but if the man he is saying is involved in an alleged rape, and he's using that fella's name in his protest, HE can be sued for Slander... since slander has nothing to do with whether you are right or wrong, just the matter than you are saying something to screw someone's reputation

and, I dont think we need someone toting guns around that has a grudge - it seems it could very easily escalate.
