Not to distract from the news, which is that of the burglaries, but Shypulski's is actually a hair salon and I believe the real estate office is spelled "Kerwin."

I no longer visit Menlo Park because it's become a high crime area. Mp needs to invest in more cameras, and needs to control who comes into their town. The Mp city council should ask for help from Portola Valley (we are in process of installing ALPRs). This would hopefully stop future crimes and also help apprehend the perpetrators

"no longer visit Menlo Park because it's become a high crime area"

What? Hilarious. Show us the numbers.

Silly.

How much has PV crime dropped since the announced adoption of cameras?

Yeah.

According to one source, "Crime in Bay Area cities is on the rise. In particular, Menlo Park and Palo Alto have experienced an uptick in petty theft and residential burglaries...". Sounds like Menlo Park has some work to do...

Since announcement of ALPRs, there have been 0 violent robberies/home invasions in PV.

Conflating burglarywith violent crime. Why?

"there have been 0 violent robberies/home invasions in PV." How many in PV in the last 100 YEARS?

"According to one source"

What is your source?

And I'll ask again: How much has PV crime dropped since the announced adoption of cameras?

Menlo is extraordinarily safe.

Thank you, police and press.
