Improving traffic flow: Early results of Dumbarton corridor study released

For those locked in traffic as they cross the Bay over the Dumbarton Bridge every day, the time it will take to improve traffic flow by making major changes to the vehicle bridge and the nearby abandoned rail bridge may seem like an eternity.

It's a major disappointment that SamTrans claims the Dumbarton corridor from East PA to Redwood City cannot be used. That was a big expectation for Facebook, that given the uncertainty for doing anything with the bridge, the corridor could be developed even if temporary. This total shortcoming of the study which Menlo Park should reject.
