New trail to give public greater access to open space preserve

Officials plan to break ground on Tuesday, Aug. 1, on a $1.2 million six-mile-long trail with "panoramic coastal views" in the La Honda Creek Open Space Preserve in La Honda.

Great.
Was about time that they developed that area.
Make sure there is ample parking,enough signage so nobody gets lost and needs rescue, and that the slopes are manageable by Techies out for a hard jog.

Good news! Look forward to the hike already. But...the story must be in error regarding Measure AA funds which are restricted to projects restoring the Bay and this trail is certainly not that.

Shoreline Observer: it turns out there have been multiple Measure AA's. There is a 2014 Open Space Measure AA and the one you refer to.
