Thank you to the women who organized the farmer's market 25 years ago and also to the Lion's club for sponsoring it. I buy all my veggies at the farmer's market every Sunday.

It's amazing that 25 years ago there was a need to "enliven" downtown Menlo Park, and today, 25 years later, the farmer's market is the only improvement that has taken place. Please do not insult me by saying that the mini park with grungy astroturf, and restaurant dining in the street in former parking spaces is an improvement. Downtown Menlo is in serious need of a revamp.

How lucky we are to have this addition to our community. I have been attending the market since it started in 1992.
