Ginny Maiwald, the Menlo Park City School District's director of student services, is qualified not just by her education and her work experience -- but by her life as a single mother who raised two deaf children to be thriving young adults.

Ginny Maiwald is truly a wonderful human being with "super powers" and an example for ALL parents.

I feel very privileged to work with Ginny in her school district, as a regular ed teacher. We receive great training that helps us learn to meet needs of all children. Ginny is an inspiration!
