Menlo Park council subcommittee to negotiate with Stanford on proposed complex

Menlo Park council members Peter Ohtaki and Ray Mueller have been appointed to negotiate a development agreement with Stanford for its proposed office/housing complex at 500 El Camino Real, and to review Stanford's proposed 2018 general use permit for its campus expansion.

Menlo Park needs to look at traffic and what Palo Alto did with Alma and El Camino and act accordingly. I think requiring a left turn onto El Camino during the high commute hours pushing the traffic from the Stanford project up through Palo Alto and Stanford would be appropriate.
