Woodside: Tad Taube honored for lifetime achievements

In recognition of philanthropic activities over 40 years, Woodside resident Tad Taube will be honored with a Distinguished Humanitarian Service Award for Lifetime Achievement by the nonprofit San Francisco-based Jewish Family and Children's Services.

Tad also paid for the renovation of the Stanford tennis stadium. This permits Stanford to host both the NCAA Tennis championship as well as the Bank of the West WTA tournament.

So, again, many thanks to Tad. I personally met him several times at the above stadium. He's extremely congenial, and even invited me and a member of the Stanford tennis team to play at his own courts.
