So proud of my friend JoAnn. Her energy and commitment to fight for democratic values is very inspiring and contagious. In these times it would be easy to just put our heads in the sand and be grateful we live in a beautiful and relatively open minded community. JoAnn reminds us all that it is our civic duty to fight for the rights of all our citizens, no matter where they reside in our country.
