Menlo Atherton Golfers: How much golf does it take to impede your work productivity?

Original post made by Home Course, Atherton: other, on Feb 21, 2017

Folks said that Obama golfed too much. Trump has golfed 6 times in his first month in office. Add in the required naps for a 70 year old post-outing, and we can see why he has been working so little. And reads even less, if at all, given all the TV he admits watching, in his bathrobe.

The 1st month of a presidency sets the tone for a term. The Trump team has yet to work on a single legislative bill with congress. A lot of executive orders, the same technique they claim Obama used to subvert the Constitution.

In Obama's first month, he passed a relief bill that created jobs and gave hundreds of millions in tax cuts. He signed the The Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act of 2009 to promote equal pay for women. He had several other bills in process. Obama was working on digging out of the Bush Recession, work that led to the longest streak of private sector job growth in our history - over 80 consecutive months. Obama handed that streak to Trump, who calls it American Carnage.

Too much golf, not enough work? Too much golf, not enough reality?

---

"I'm going to be working for you, I'm not going to have time to go play golf," Trump said.

"Trump has visited his golf courses ... six times in his first month in office."

He has Betsy DeVos as Education Secretary, and a Congress working on the important stuff. I'm optimistic.

You actually believe that nonsense...
