Here we go again.... this is getting boring.
The almanac has now published this dispute at least four times. In particular it keeps publishing Nancy Reyering's claim that Peter Mason is in violation of the town's ethics code by "....bringing projects before (the review board) at all while maintain(ing) his position on the Town Council. So, if anyone had committed an ethical violation, it was Peter Mason..."
Unfortunately, she's just plain wrong. The only code language even close relates to members having a financial interest in a matter that comes before a board *on which they serve*. Peter Mason does not serve on the ASRB, he serves on the Town Council. So here Nancy does another version of thesame thing that got here in trouble in the first place: she's made up her own rule, and then accused Peter Mason of violating it.
So, once again, Nancy: what exactly is it that you accuse Peter Mason of doing? What meeting, on what date, and what's the exact text of the rule he violated?
These are all questions the Almanac should have put to Nancy Reyering before publishing this now tired story once again. It's time for Reyering to put up or shut up.

ASRB Victim certainly has an axe to grind! Poor Reyering.. but the real problem is:
I hear she has an extra eye
That always remains awake
I hear that she can shed her skin
As easily as a snake!
I hear some rebel Animals
Are giving her food and shelter!
I hear her soul is so unclean
Pure water can melt her!
FIYERO
What!?
CROWD
Melt her!?
Please - somebody go and melt her!
FIYERO
(spoken) Do you hear that - water will melt her?! People
are so empty-headed, they'll believe anything!

that was really enlightening. Have anything of any factual basis to add to the discussion? Don't have the facts on your side, pound the table or come up with some totally obtuse BS? Great tactic. Except its a tactic, not FACT.
Don't miss out
on the discussion!
