One way to answer the question is to look at the calls that Mr. Bannon has been on with the President, and the results of those calls.
Your answer lies in doing a quick google for President Trump and calls to:
- Germany... had to be lectured/educated about the Geneva accords
- China (see Taiwan issue)
- the UK... “If you travel to the U.S., you should let me know”
- Canada... “knocked about by the media”
- Mexico: a complete disaster
- Japan... “I’m dispatching Mad Dog to Japan ... I trust him so please talk to him about anything.”
- Australia: a complete disaster
- India... really unhappy about President Trump's call with Pakistan
- Pakistan... offended by the President's Muslim ban
- Russia... unlike all the above, Mr. Bannon turned off all recording equipment for this call
One truth about the calls: President Trump was much more animated in conversation with countries that have a Trump property, and less so with countries without. He unfailingly brought up his investments.
In the ten calls listed, eight to American allies, Mr. Bannon has failed the President and the country.
All told, in this sector of the job, Mr. Bannon has made us less safe.

I agree that liberals White Supremacists make the country less safe. I disagree that Steve Bannon is a white Supremacist. Julia Jones, Bannon’s screenwriting partner in Hollywood for nearly two decades, told the Daily Beast in August, “I never knew the ‘racist Steve’ that’s being reported now. I never heard him make any racist jokes, and his best friend was an African-American who went to college with him. . . . I never saw even a hint of racism.” Others have reported the same. Ben Shapiro, who worked under Bannon at his website, Breitbart, until departing earlier this year, wrote on his own site, “I have no evidence that Bannon’s a racist or that he’s an anti-Semite.”
So it is intellectually dishonest and irresponsible for Pelosi to defame his character simply because he is a conservative.
However, Congresswoman Pelosi is making the country less safe by opposing President Trump for responsibly vetting people from 7 countries which the Obama Administration designated as Terrorist threats in 2015. President Trump did not create this list of 7 Barack Obama did.
And where was the outrage when Jimmy Carter suspended immigration from Iran or when Barack Obama suspended immigration fromm Iraq for 6 months--twice as long a President Trump is proposing.
Also President Franklin D Roosevelt disingenuously argued that Nazi spies could be hiding among Jewish refugees from Germany so he limited the number of German Jews who could be admitted to 26,000 annually. And it is estimated that for most of the Hitler era, less than 25 percent of that quota was actually filled.
And Bill Clinton made a very eloquent and rational argument against illegal immigration.

Liberals need to stop their histrionics. The country is watching their ridiculous temper tantrums and they will lose seats in the House and Senate in the next mid term election. Usually the party out of party gains seats in the mid terms but the democrats are self immolating and will cause their party to lose more seats.
But they can take heart that in States like New York and California they will not lose seats because these two states are so far out of touch with mainstream America that they are immune to their own reckless and irresponsible behavior.

Correction on the first sentence. It should read "I agree with Pelosi that White Supremacists make the country less safe.

After years of the far right (and Breitbart) railing against "Hollywood elites", your exhibit A is from "Bannon’s screenwriting partner in Hollywood".
Can't make this stuff up - awesome! Well played - you must have giggled when you wrote that!
Bannon's wife:
"Bannon's ex-wife swore in court in 2007 that he “didn’t want the girls going to school with Jews...He said he doesn’t like Jews..."
Bannon's own Brietbart website explained that he and the alt-right are racist, just smarter than the David Duke types:
"Skinheads, by and large, are low-information, low-IQ thugs driven by the thrill of violence and tribal hatred. The alternative right are a much smarter group of people"
Conservative Ben Shapiro, who has worked extensively for Bannon:
"Under Bannon’s Leadership, Breitbart Openly Embraced The White Supremacist Alt-Right."
More Ben Shapiro:
"Now Breitbart has become the alt-right go-to website, with [Milo] Yiannopoulos pushing white ethno-nationalism as a legitimate response to political correctness, and the comment section turning into a cesspool for white supremacist mememakers."
Breitbart Ran a Headline Referring to a Commentator as a ‘Renegade Jew’
It would be a discredit to just say Bannon associates with racists and white nationalists. He is so much more. Here is a sample of Breitbart headlines under his leadership:
Web Link
Not enough?
"A Twitter analysis conducted by The Investigative Fund using Little Bird software found that these "elements" are more deeply connected to Breitbart News than more traditional conservative outlets. While only 5 percent of key influencers using the supremacist hashtag # whitegenocide follow the National Review, and 10 percent follow the Daily Caller, 31 percent follow Breitbart. The disparities are even starker for the anti-Muslim hashtag # counterjihad: National Review, 26 percent; the Daily Caller, 37 percent; Breitbart News, 62 percent."
31% of # whitegenocide hashtags follow Breitbart.

Using a Hollywood writer as the character reference, then deflecting by going back in history to smear Democrats.
Priceless.
Learned well at the feet of Bannon/Breitbart.

Another brilliant defense of Steve Bannon, this time by 'plastic surgeon'.

Plastic surgeon's post disappeared. Too bad. Shows all that the alternative right (racists) can't debate on fact or merit.
