Friday: Menlo Park council to set priorities for 2017

Just like anyone else who starts the year by creating a laundry list of goals for the next 12 months, so, too, does the Menlo Park City Council have an annual goal-setting tradition. The council will meet to set priorities and goals from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at the council chambers at 701 Laurel St. in the Menlo Park Civic Center.

Would love if the city council would consider the heightened importance of access to books for all of our community. I'd love to see Menlo Park as town with Little Free Libraries in every park - or scattered through the city. Let's show our value for literacy!!
