Maybe the town center can include a fire station, and get the Fire District to put up the money. They say they want a new station every two years for the next ten, and are obviously rolling in cash since they are able to pay exorbitant salaries. This Chief is much more interested in press coverage and high salaries for all than he is in managing his department for the benefit of the citizens.

Or we can outsource the police department with their exorbitant salaries and use the multiple millions of monies saved to build it. Seems like a more ethical way to go about paying for something (cut your own excess expenditures before asking someone to else to bail you out).
