High school board approves map subdividing district into five voting areas

In a unanimous vote on Wednesday, Dec. 14, the board of the Sequoia Union High School District approved a map that subdivides the 19-square-mile school district into five voting areas of approximately equal populations.

The approved map uses highway 101 as a boundary instead of using the boundary of East Palo Alto, or even Ravenswood. Cutting up a small city or elementary school district is shameful.
