Woodside extends temporary ban on commercial cultivation of marijuana

Numbers can tell a tale. For example, 65 percent of Woodside voters in the Nov. 8 election voted in support of statewide Proposition 64, which made it legal to grow, use and sell marijuana for recreational and commercial use.

how does a resident come up with "A resident who did not identify herself said on Oct. 25 that she worried about a nearby vacant lot being planted with marijuana, followed by "a little stand" going up, with people "coming and going at all hours."
Without suggesting I support this, it is a far reach. One could draw "what if's" all day long. I am pretty sure the town has a ordinance on selling anything from a little stand...
