MENLO PARK - Are Emails Being Ignored ?

Original post made by Menlo Park - Taxpayer, Menlo Park: Downtown, on Nov 17, 2016

Over thirty citizens have commented that their emails to the City of Menlo Park are being ignored? That means NO RESPONSE. If this is true, it is rude and disrespectful of them. There is no excuse.

Many cities have an AUTOMATED RESPONSE, but Menlo Park does not. A simple auto reply saying something to the effect, "thank you for contacting the City of Menlo Park. Your email is important to us and will be directed to the proper officials". Would this be possible?

Admittedly some departments are better than others. To those who embrance and live by the value of Customer Service deserve credit. To the others, a class in being courteous and respectful may be appropriate.
