Portola Valley today: In wake of home invasions, deputies meet with residents

In the wake of two home-invasion robberies in Portola Valley, deputies and detectives from the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office will be on hand from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, to meet Portola Valley and Woodside residents at the Community Hall at 765 Portola Road.

We are very grateful to have the San Mateo County Sheriff's Office detectives, deputies, and officers provide detailed updates and counsel to concerned families. The heinous shootings in Des Moines serve as a reminder of the risks that our police men and women take on our behalf. Thank you.
