Why are we continually spending money in this town? Last time I checked, we still hadn't paid off the disastrous solar panel fiasco that Tim Hanretty instigated. The big field out in back is perfect. The playground is just fine. Nothing needs to be done.
I certainly hope this isn't a bid to remodel the offices of the administrators. When will the school district learn that leaving well enough alone is JUST FINE? For God's sake, stop asking for $1,000,000 a year in parent funding if you can't keep your priorities straight.

Quite the opposite, this is a facilities PLAN intended to assess up and comming needs for building maintanace so that appropriate funding is in place and maintanace is done with supervision and community input. The people driving this are parrents and were instrumental in reshaping the districts approach to increase oversight after the Harnett disaster. This is part of that new approach and is why they are asking for costructive input about site work. While I am not involved, I commend their efforts towards getting the schools facilities assessed and making sure we have good approaches to future maintanace of our great schools
