Proposal aims to narrow the wide gap in educational equity at local schools

Although Willow Oaks School and the Laurel School Upper Campus are both public elementary schools located just blocks apart in Menlo Park's Willows neighborhood, their facilities, and their student bodies, couldn't be more different.

Barbara, you did a good job telling us about the problem, but you told us nothing about the proposal. What would the coalition do? Where would it get money? How would funding priorities be set? What is its governance?
