Thank you to our fantastic community of fire fighters and to all of those who have taken advantage of the Town's matching program for defensible space/vegetation removal (up to $2000!). PLEASE let this be a reminder that there is always the ever-present risk of wildfire in our community and it's up to us to do our part!!!

I know that the fire started at 2:17. I was leaving the house, and I saw the tree fall on the power line. My mom told my brother and I to stay in the car while she went to check the damage. It went up in flames while she was on the phone with 911. I have video of the fire, and I have pictures of the smoke before it went in flames.
