Trump attacks Gold Star family and American hero, accepts Purple Heart: "I always wanted to get the Purple Heart. This was much easier."

Original post made by @cedar - FACTS WITH LINKS, Menlo Park: other, on Aug 2, 2016

Donald "5 Deferment" Trump, while a young 3-sport athlete, claims bone spurs to stay out of Vietnam.

A lot of kids got deferments. Most didn't turn into chickenhawks that want to send US troops to invade countries.

None have accepted a copy Purple Heart from an American Vet and claimed it was real: Web Link

"I always wanted to get the Purple Heart. This was much easier."

This after spending the week attacking the Gold Star parents of Captain Khan, killed in action in Iraq.

Has this man no shame?

Is he such a narcissist he is unable to control himself?

"I always wanted to get the Purple Heart. This was much easier."

This is insane. Accept a purple heart with those words?

Those bone spurs must hurt.

Didn't his physician call him the healthiest president ever?

Trump expresses ease of which he "got" a Purple Heart - "I always wanted to get the Purple Heart. This was much easier."

True recipients take umbrage.

Tqammy Duckworth tweets a a picture of herself in a hospital bed, just a day after losing her legs; bruised and battered, with her Purple Heart pinned to her gown just a few inches up from the IV.
.
"Tammy Duckworth: @realdonaldtrump, this is how one usually looks when you are awarded the Purple Heart. Nothing easy about it."

At least the 'thinking' Republicans are now abandoning Trump in droves.

Isn't it amazing?

Yesterday's atrocious Trump statement is soon forgotten by the next Trump absurdity!

And GOP politicians are cementing their feet in Trump overshoes bu not repudiating him when they could. Now they own him - and in the next cycle, they will be tarred with the Trump stain.

Lose with trump, and lose next time - what they call a two-fer!

Good times.

Actually, as Trump descends further, without interruption from the GOP by offering him a network job and a bribe to replace him, the "two-fer" will be the House and the Senate.

Good times.

I'm not a Trump enemy. I think he makes a great reality TV show. Boffo ratings!

But he is a clear and present danger to the safety of our nation.

Mexican judges? Deportation? Beliefs commission? Won't support NATO? The list goes on and on.

Trump wants EXTREME VETTING of Mooseliiims coming into our country.

Too bad Trump can't EXTREME VET his campign bosses that HE chooses - Corey Lewindowski (fired for being an idiot) and Paul Manafort (fired for taking Putin money, offshore accounts, dirty, dirty, dirty.)

Do as Trump says, not as he does (or usually, does NOT.)

This is historical malfeasance by the candidate and the party he is leading.

GOP... what happened to you?

You should ALL be fired!
