Many thanks for the lovely article about the scholarship in my honor. I couldn't be prouder, and I'm deeply grateful to the energetic, enthusiastic organizers and the generous-spirited donors. I would like to make one small correction to the information in the article. While I'm proud to have played a role in the selection process, I didn't choose the winners on my own. I assembled a seasoned committee of nine, and trained them in the evaluation process. The applications were so powerful that trying to choose the winners on my own would have been excruciating! My committee (and I) would have loved to award every applicant!

Thanks!

Alice Kleeman
