He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named dragged out of closet to help GOP

Original post made by Beating around the Bushes, Menlo Park: Belle Haven, on Jun 17, 2016

Desperate Republicans pull George W. Bush from mothballs because Trump is a train-wreck for down-ticket candidates.

Clinton left office at 66% approval.
President Obama is at 53% (and rising.)
George W. Bush left office at 34% approval.

Bush has been denied access to all Republican national events including the last two conventions. Bush's economic disasters, Katrina, and his terrible foreign policy have been toxic to Republicans for a decade.

Why put 'Iraqi' George on the road with senate hopefuls? Beats trying to get the independent voter while supporting Donald Trump!

Web Link

"Mr. Trump denounced the 2003 invasion of Iraq as a foreign policy disaster, blamed Mr. Bush for the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks, and painted his presidency as a failure. Yet Mr. Trump suffered little backlash from voters in the Republican primaries as a result." Perhaps because the GOP base agrees with Trump and most historians on Bush, no matter what the Beltway elites try to peddle!

So now the new savior of the Republican Party is the guy the GOP hid in the upstairs closet for a decade.

What would happen if local Republicans brought George 'Katrina' Bush to Menlo Park?

Would it increase voter registrations?

For Democrats?

Please, San Mateo GOP, invite George W. Bush to your next confab! Maybe host a book signing, or finger-painting contest, at Keplers! Show us how much you love your Republican presidents!

Trump is tanking in the polls.

Republicans will put up with his crap and racism, unless his numbers fail badly.

Then, suddenly, the GOP will show 'integrity' and look for an alternate.

Look at Armitage, Bush's sec state, choosing HRC

Are you saying the GOP is placing party before patriotism?

Shocking!

If we defeat Trump soundly, he will not be able to start that media company by year end.
