Want to run for school board? Info meeting June 1

Those interested in running in the Nov. 8 election for one of the two open seats on the school board of the Menlo Park City School District are invited to a candidate information night on Wednesday, June 1.

Do you know if the candidate seminars in July at the San Mateo County Elections Office are for all candidates running for school board? There are two vacancies on the Las Lomitas Governing Board as well, but there is has not been a public meeting to discuss these openings.

Yes, the July seminars will be for all potential candidates. In the meantime, here's a link to some information about becoming a candidate from the county's website: Web Link .

The county hasn't yet posted much information about the November ballot, perhaps because we need to get past tomorrow's election first.
