Environmental report released on Facebook's expansion plans

An environmental review says that Facebook's plan to build three 75-foot-tall buildings, adding 962,400 square feet at two proposed office buildings and 174,800 square feet at a 200-room hotel, plus 3,533 parking spots, could have some impacts determined to be "significant and unavoidable."

"significant and unavoidable impact," related to traffic...doesn't this mean that this would produce too much development for this site.

Why does every expansion have to be at this same location? They have the money, why not build something on the other side of the bay? So what if there are existing buildings at this site that they want to demolish. Do something else with this space.
