Wood-chipper program aims to cut wildfire risks in Woodside, Portola Valley

Crews from the Woodside Fire Protection District will be coming around to neighborhoods in Portola Valley, Woodside and nearby communities, starting Tuesday, May 3, to convert residents' excess brush and branches into wood chips.

What wood would a woodchuck chuck? How does that go? Never mind. Fire safety is a serious matter. So, never give a cigarette to a woodchuck.
