"Obviously, it can be very difficult to come to a jail and visit a loved one," Mr. Zuno said. "We don't want (children) to be in a room that says, 'Hey, this is a jail.
Ahh, yeah it is Jail. If they are in there for an extended reason, then it is because of court order. Sorry for the children, but if the adult screwed up, then sometimes children need to learn hard and unfortunate stories. If the incarcerated person does not like it, well look in the mirror.

"Inmates housed in the main jail may sense enough differences to make the new jail a destination." WHAT? I think the inmates might want to set higher goals for themselves rather than a fancier jail with better ambiance! I wonder now about the homeless shelter that is just down the road on Maple Street... any improvements there? I think not.
Sometimes i just cant understand the logic behind where the little money that is available is spent. Jail time is not break time.

Ridiculous. In my day you worked on a chain gang as part of your rehabilitation. Talk about coddling inmates. Remember the victims.
