Trump is demanding that Cruz prove that he is a natural born US citizen (a constitutional requirement to become a US President). Cruz is having a hard time complying.

McCain: "I think there is a question," McCain said. "I am not a constitutional scholar on that. But I think it's worth looking into. I don't think it's illegitimate to look into it."
Cruz was born in Alberta, Canada to an American mother and Cuban father. He **renounced** his Canadian citizenship in 2014.
WHHHHAAAAAATTTT?!?!?!?
The dude renounced his lifelong citizenship in the country he was born in?!?!?
Why? Just for political purposes!
Why on earth would anyone consider an idiot who renounced his lifelong citizenship for political purposes? What a sleazy move.

Trump will make America great again. Look at the jobs report - Obama added 292000 jobs last month. Trump will add 400,000 jobs a month every month, just by beating the Chinese.

The best the liberals have is Samuel L Jackson accusing Donald Trump of cheating in the round of golf they played together.

I am a registered Republican and am persuading my fellow Republicans that a vote for Cruz or Trump will all but ensure a Clinton victory. Both Kasich and Christie would be much better candidates and would be good presidents.

I'm sorry, but if Kasich and Christie can't even register in the primary against Trump or Cruz, what kind of chance will they have against Hillary? Granted, Kasich doesn't have nearly as much negatives as Christie, but only the elitists are going to care about that.

A lot of Trump supporters are just livid at GOP politicians and all the lies they've foisted upon us for years.
Promise to end abortion and other promises about faith and values. Promise to get tax cuts for working folk, not billionaires. Immigration reform. A line item veto. Cut the number of congressional committees by a third. Eliminate entire departments. The list goes on forever.
Their results? Zip, nada, zilch. Reagan at least worked with the dems and got something done. Bush had his pen and BOTH houses and did nothing but destroy the economy and a land war. Today's GOP is even worse - ZERO achievements.
This year, we have SENATORS running as Washington outsiders! A couple more lifetime politician (governors!) running as outsiders!
They call it the deepest bench ever. Maybe numerically but - it is the WEAKEST bench in memory.
TRUMP!
I refuse to vote for any of the others.
Maybe Secretary Webb if he goes 3rd party.

"...armed TERRORISTS that are occupying Federal property in Oregon?"
They are armed and threaten to kill anyone who tries to remove them. They occupy our land and say they want it free for their purposes (grazing.) The establishment GOP learned from the Deadbeat Bundy ranch fiasco - they will not support those idiots again.
In Trump news, he is calling out Cruz on birth. This is an error, Mr. Donald. Call Cruz out for disloyalty, in renouncing his citizenship in the country of his birth for naked political reasons.

The Republican-lead US Congress declared that Panama-born John McCain was a "natural born citizen" because John McCain was popular in congress. Ted Cruz is extremely unpopular in the current Republican-lead congress, so they aren't going to bless him. If Cruz is that unpopular now, how is he going to work with congress if he becomes president?

ERROR - "The REPUBLICAN-lead US Congress declared that Panama-born John McCain was a "natural born citizen"
The bill was in 2008, in April, well before the election Web Link
Co-sponsored by OBAMA and CLINTON.
And that was Nancy Pelosi's House that made that declaration.
So - wrong party.
----
"Panama-born John McCain" - Born on a US base in Panama. And McCain's mother wasn't registered to vote in Panama/Canada, thus a citizen of another country, whose allegiance requires forsaking US citizenship.
Section 349 of the Immigration and Nationality Act says Americans lose their citizenship if they take loyalty oaths to foreign governments; as in registering to vote in Canada.
Cruz has to clear that up. Worse, as a poster above pointed out- Cruz renounced his citizenship in 2013 just to make his presidential run more palatable for tea-bag voters. Web Link
Cruz and "palatable" in the same sentence. Now then, that is quite the rarity!

Sarah Palin is very controversial. Is her endorsement a net positive or negative for Trump? I assume she helps him in the more conservative primaries, but may hurt in moderate states and especially in the general election.
a resident of Menlo Park: Sharon Heights

"Sarah Palin is very controversial."
Not true, she is not very controversial. Have you watched her endorsement?
She is NOT controversial. There are a small number of Americans who may like her, but for the rest, the vast majority of Americans left center and right, again, there is no controversy - they all agree.
The half-term quitter who never reads, is a (state bird of Minnesota.) Zero controversy about that fact.
Sarah Palin is the woman that the GOP told us in 2008 would save the GOP; now she just endorsed the fool who is destroying the party. What does that tell us about the GOP?
