Filing deadline extended for four local elections; three contested elections ahead

As the list of candidates for the Nov. 3 election settles, the boards of four local public agencies will have extended candidate filing deadlines, and three will have contested elections.

I guess now that the Menlo firefighters are getting a likable contract there isn't the need for campaign drama as in the last two elections. It's a shame that it took so long to get there.

There was a public invitation for two more candidates to enter the fire board race. To be an effective leader, Director Bernstein needs a first follower. Web Link
