Atherton police invite residents to National Night Out

It should be an old-fashioned night of family fun, including a barbecue, games, face-painting and music, as well as a helicopter landing, in Atherton's Holbrook-Palmer Park on Tuesday, Aug. 4 for the town's second National Night Out.

Just curious as to why NNO events aren't being held in the actual streets of Atherton, as is done in many, many communities?

No, sorry Whatever. It's because unlike those communities where you have dozens of families on a single block, our properties are just so large that there aren't enough people on a single block to make a good sized party.
