Menlo Park: Police surround house with burglary suspects inside

As recommended by public safety advocates, residents of Lexington Drive in Menlo Park saw something on the morning of Monday, June 8, and then they said something.

Well done to the neighbors who alerted the police, and well done to the police for peacefully catching the criminals.

We know our own neighborhoods better than anyone else, so it's easy to see when something is amiss. It's awful to be so suspicious but it's better to err on the side of caution than to be sorry later. Nice to see how the MPPD handled the burglary and the resolution that resulted.

Now maybe they will stay in their own "Neck of the Woods."
