Today: Cal Water hosts water awareness festival in Atherton

The California Water Company will hold a "Water Awareness Festival" with activities for adults and children from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 12, in Atherton's Holbrook-Palmer Park.

I attended this event and was pleasantly surprised by all the information I gleaned. And I actually won a drought tolerant plant! I assume that Wegmans nursery donated it. KGO 810 radio was there, along with firemen, a snow cone machine and complementary hot dogs and salad. Thank you for putting this festival on. I really enjoyed it.
