25 years to life in Prison for burglary! Isn't that what they give murderers? I do not condone burglaries or home invasions. I would rather have my tax dollars go towards rehabilitation. You swear this guy will be able to get a job now, where is he going to get the money to pay back this restitution?

I'll bet they discovered $19,000 left over from the $62,000 in jewelry he stole earlier this year and thought it only fair that he return it: See the prior article at Web Link
I'm sure the harsh sentence has more to do with the 15 priors than with the latest two burglaries. Recidivism should certainly have severe consequences, or else we will have abrogated our obligation as a civil society to protect ourselves from perpetual predators.
