Two months later and what has happened?

Original post made by Peter Carpenter, Atherton: Lindenwood, on Apr 24, 2015

Two months ago a young woman was killed in her car at the Ravenswood CalTrain crossing.

What has happened since that time to reduce the risk of this happening again ?

No sign changes.

No changes in turn restrictions.

No restriping of the lanes.

No traffic cones.

A couple of days of police enforcement.

What are we waiting for?

Another death?

Our citizenry has the attention span of a four year old boy at a carnival.

The program "dangerous train crossings" has been preempted with new programing about our water shortage.

It may be renewed if there is another accident. Please stand by.
