Police need to set up stings. Find out when someone's going on vacation and let the newspapers build up in the driveway and let the lawn go unmown and then either stake out the home live or set up video cameras to get people and license plate images. Didn't these homes have burglar alarms?

A few weeks ago, I had a parcel stolen from my front porch in upper Ladera. Now, I hear of another theft, this time a thief actually entering the home. This is scary and so I urge all neighbors to be on the lookout for unusual activity around our homes. It is better to call the police and be wrong than to hesitate and let a crime happen.

this is why the cameras at all the exits of PV ( Portola Rd, Alpine Rd, & Astradero ) might help with identifying the robbers cars
