Portola Valley takes pass on license-plate-reading cameras

There will be no cameras recording the license-plate numbers of all vehicles passing through Portola Valley anytime soon, though other crime-fighting measures may be ahead.

too bad - maybe if those cameras were in place I might have my jewelry back that was taken last summer when my house was robbed. If he robbers knew they might be on camera, they might have picked another town. Please rethink your decision PV town council
