Editorial: Kudos to watchdog and city, but herbicide spraying issue is unresolved

Janet Davis of the Stanford Weekend Acres neighborhood, known by many as a watchdog of public works and traffic-related services provided by the county and the city of Menlo Park in the Alpine Road area, deserves a round of applause for her relentlessness in helping to track down the truth of the March 17 herbicide spraying right next to San Francisquito Creek.

Ms. Davis understands that in a multi-layered government environment such as ours, vigilance is critical. Vigilance requires much time and effort on the part of the
watchdog. For that we can all be grateful.
