Today the Sun will be above the Horizon in Menlo Park for Greater than 12 Hours

Original post made by Hank Lawrence, Menlo Park: Sharon Heights, on Mar 17, 2015

Today Menlo Park will have 12 hours and 1 minute of daylight. Sunrise at 0717 PDT and sunset at 1918 PDT. It is also the height of eclipse season as satellites in geosynchronous orbit will be without sunlight for 1 hour and 9 minutes and will be running on battery power during the time the earth blocks the suns rays.

Then it is a good day to go to Jameson's Bar and drink his name sake.
"May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind always be at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, and rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand".
