Unfortunately, while the sheriff responds promptly to reports of property crime, the follow up and potential solving of such crimes is a very low priority and gets virtually no attention. At least was my experience some years ago. The detective to whom this was assigned, with photos of items stolen and names of potential culprits never got in contact and was impossibleYUXR6 to reach.
