I count eighteen times that Barak Obama has come here to Silicon Valley (with two planes each time, plus cars, extra personnel, etc.) since he was elected. What a gosh darn horrible expense. I'm truly outraged. Fund raising. Right. Fund raising on the backs of the tax payers. I know Barak's defenders (dwindling numbers by the way) will say other presidents have come here too many times as well. Have they? Has any president squandered the tax payers' money to this extravagant extent?
Hope and change? How's that been working for us?

"Hope and change? How's that been working for us?"
Absolutely great. One of the best president's ever. Took the worst economic crisis since the First Republican Great Depression and saved us.
Remember that Bush's last full month had job LOSSES of 800,000 jobs.
Web Link
The chart link above job loss/growth by month. Absolutely STUNNING.
Below are numbers on private sector jobs added, another area that Obama has excelled, and without the aid of the GOP.
Term Private Sector Jobs Added (000s)
Carter ........ 9,041
Reagan 1 ...... 5,360
Reagan 2 ...... 9,357
GHW Bush ...... 1,510
Clinton 1 ..... 10,885
Clinton 2 ..... 10,070
GW Bush 1 ..... -844
GW Bush 2 ..... 381
Obama 1 ....... 2,018
Obama 2 ....... 5,5421
24 months into 2nd term: 11,084 pace.
1 - Currently Obama's 2nd term is on pace to be the best ever.

Thank the Lord that Obama has saved us from the Bush Great Recession! Low gas prices, more jobs, booming markets.
Hope and change? Check and double check!!
Still more to do, as Obama fights unprecedented republican obstructionism to continue to rebuild our great country!
Now, to the post about travel: should all presidents be confined to the White House? Or just Obama, as he is the most threatened president ever?
Regarding fundraising - are you suggesting campaign finance reform? Or are you okay with the two Koch brothers buying this next election with their declaration to spend $887 MILLION to buy republican candidates in 2016?

Obama has increased the national debt at over twice the rate that George Bush did. If Obama's reckless spending spree continues at the same rate as his first 6 years then when he leaves office he will have created more national debt than all the presidents preceding him combined!
His jobs figures are illusory. Because if you count people who have given up looking because the economy is so bad (which the BLS does not) and people who are underemployed because Obamacare has pushed a huge amount of people out of their 40 hour per work week jobs down to 29 hours per week then you have an unmitigated disaster.

"His jobs figures are illusory."
Where is the illusion?
Bush Jan, 2009 - 800,000 jobs LOST
Bush Dec, 2008 - 700,000 jobs LOST
Bush Nov, 2008 - 750,000 jobs LOST
Bush Oct, 2008 - 450,000 jobs LOST
Obama - 50+ months of job growth.
Obama - 2014 is best year for job gains since Clinton (Clinton!)
NYT: "Since Nov. 1, employers have hired more than one million new workers, the best performance over a three-month period since 1997. More jobs were created in 2014 as a whole than in any year since 1999." Web Link
Illusory?
Quite the magic!
Obama saved America from the republicans and their 1% masters (Kochs to spend $887 million to buy republican candidates in 2016.)
Obama - best at job creation since Clinton.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics since January 2009, when Obama took office, the U.S. has seen a net decline of 321,000 manufacturing jobs.
"Quite the magic!"

"According to..."
No substantiation, no numbers, no links. How quickly right-wingers forget the Bush Great Recession.
For example, you are counting the Bush 800,000 job losses in January 2009, when Obama took over the Bush Disaster on January 21.
You are also counting the Bush 700,000 job losses in February 2009.
You are also counting the Bush 800,000+ job losses in March 2009.
You are also counting the Bush 800,000 job losses in April 2009.
Over 3 million Bush job losses (THREE MILLION!!!) in 4 months. Wow, republicans sure are terrible at running things! Thank heavens the Obama recovery started taking hold as fast as it did!

Treasonous.

Bush - millions of jobs lost.
Obama in the last three months (without ANY republican help!)
January - 257,000 jobs were added
December - 329,000 jobs were added
November - 423,000 jobs were added (the most in 17 years)
"The labor market was about the last thing to recover from the Great Recession, and in the last six months it has picked up steam,ββ said Bill Hampel, chief economist at the Credit Union National Association. ββThe benefits for the middle class are now solidifying."
"There are now 3.2 million more Americans earning paychecks than there were 12 months ago. That additional cash tends to boost consumer spending, which drives about 70 percent of economic growth."

Righties want are nostalgic for the good ol days of the Bush Great Recession.
Good times. Sure beats those terrible Clinton years with 23 million new jobs and budget surpluses.
Hey - lets elect dubyas brother!

No jeb bush.
I want Christie or Scott Walker - both have the invaluable experience of already having indicted staff members.
Quick learning curve.
