Coroner IDs Caltrain fatality

A 64-year-old San Jose resident was struck and killed by a train at the Charleston Road crossing in Palo Alto on Sunday, the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office has confirmed.

Unfortunate.

Caltrain has a security guard at that intersection to deter these events. Where was he?

Charleston: That is not a Caltrain security guard. It is a volunteer track-watcher coordinated by the city.
