Jury awards $4M to family of Menlo School grad killed by truck

The family of a 24-year-old woman who was fatally struck by a truck while riding her bicycle in San Francisco's South of Market neighborhood in 2013 was awarded $4 million by a San Francisco Superior Court jury.

So sad for the victim and her family, my deepest sympathies to them. This story is disappointing in so many ways. Let's make the Bay Area a better place for bicycles and public transport - like in Europe!
