fyi - Saturday is also a Spare the Air Day. Please don't light up until the next rain or until winds pick up considerably.

Sunday is another Spare the Air Day. No rain and little wind means pollution levels will continue to worsen at least through mid-week. Air was nasty smelling around town today.

Spare the Air Days also mean no gas-powered leaf blowers. It has been an ordinance in Menlo Park since the late 90s but is often ignored, even by the City of Menlo Park. I'm sure it's because it's not well known. Also, no gas-powered leaf blowers by commercial services on Saturday (by homeowner is allowed) and none at all on Sundays. Please! Spread the word!
